He holds a BSc. Degree in Agricultural Extension (University of Cape Coast), Diploma in Horticulture (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology) and Post graduate Professional Certificate in Organizational development (University of Cape Coast). He worked with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture for 16 years in diverse capacities in the Western Region of Ghana and rose to the position of District Agricultural Extension Officer.
He also worked with CARE International (NGO) as Project Officer in the Joint Forest Management Project at Gwira Banso in the Nzema East District of Western Region. Henry joined OICI as Agric. Officer and later as Credit Officer and rose to the rank of Regional Micro Credit Officer. He has 6 years proven track record experience in Micro credit Administration.
He served 2 years as the program Manager of the AngloGold Ashanti, Iduapriem Mines Limited and OICI sustainable Community Development collaboration project in eight (8) impacted communities in their concession area in the Western region of Ghana.
He later assumed the position of Technical Services Manager in another OICI-Newmont Akyem Mining for sustainable community development. He joined a team that conducted Livelihood Survey for both mining for sustainable development and implemented Newmont’s community development interventions.
Henry has a rich experience in dynamic team building using NTL Model, assessing organizational effectiveness, assessing organizational culture index and corporate strategic planning.
Organization for Livelihood Enhancement Services (OLIVES) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. OLIVES’ focus is on community development with emphasis on livelihoods improvement.
